I don’t know where you live...but if you live in Indiana right now, you know that our weather this year sucks! We reached highs of 60 last week, but as I am staring out of my window now, it’s snowing. Yep, snowing! Mid-April and and there is a wintery white mix swirling around outside.
These drastic changes in weather play havoc on my health. I’ve had a cold for the past 3 weeks that I just can’t seem to shake and with all the pressure changes I’ve been getting the worst headaches! According to WebMd: “In a survey by the National Headache Foundation, headache sufferers were given a list of 16 possible triggers. They then were asked to rank them in terms of what commonly brought on their migraines and other headaches. Three out of every four respondents said that weather triggered their headache pain. Specific weather triggers include: Changes in humidity Changes in temperature Storms Extremely dry conditions Dusty environments" So how do we remedy this?? My first thought is to change the weather, laughable and not possible...I know. I really don’t like the idea of popping Tylenol every time the weather fluctuates around here. So instead, I grab my Tension Balm. I seriously don’t know what I would do without it! The Tension Balm has a carefully selected mixture of oils that will melt away your tension, stress and headaches alike, with just a small dab rubbed gently onto your temples and wrists. So next time the weather decides to be sporadic and cause havoc on your head- reach for a little dab of Tension Balm instead of that bottle of Tylenol!
